Not all Testing is the Same.

The CALIFORNIA MEDIUM SHELTER SYSTEM (sometimes referred to as the CAMSS30) was put through extensive testing at U.S Government facilities as part of a competition to field a new Air Force Medium Shelter System for the 21st Century for the U.S. Air Force and particularly for the Air Combat Command BEAR program. The competition was open to all and testing was funded and administered by the U.S. Air Force assuring fair and unbiased testing.

Testing was unique and beyond normal test requirements. For example, the high heat chamber testing at +125 F was supplemented by simulated solar load by an array of heat lights to provide the best simulation of actual in field conditions.

Thousands of CALIFORNIA MEDIUM SHELTER SYSTEMS are deployed worldwide and have been tested in actual field condition in every climate imaginable. From CONUS bases throughout the United States to OCONUS bases across the globe the CALIFORNIA MEDIUM SHELTER SYSTEM has met the test for over two decades.
